Bund Deutscher Kriminalbeamter

Der BDK ist der gewerkschaftliche Berufsverband der Angehörigen der deutschen Kriminalpolizei und aller in der präventiven und repressiven Kriminalitätsbekämpfung tätigen Mitarbeiter in den Sicherheitsorganisationen des Bundes und der Länder. Er ist ein selbständiger Berufsverband und parteipolitisch unabhängig. Die Kriminalpolizei ist eine eigenständige Organisation der Polizei. Schutz- und Kriminalpolizei, Bundespolizei, Bundeskriminalamt (BKA), Zoll, Finanzkontrolle Schwarzarbeit (FKS), Steuerfahndung und Nachrichtendienste tragen mit einer leistungsfähigen Justiz gemeinsam die Verantwortung für die Innere Sicherheit in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Sie leisten einen unverzichtbaren Beitrag für die Sicherheit in der Europäischen Union. Sie erfüllen dabei genau definierte und vor allem unterschiedliche

Aufgaben.

Der BDK setzt sich für die beruflichen, wirtschaftlichen, sozialen und kulturellen Interessen seiner Mitglieder ein. Der BDK setzt sich für eine professionelle und besonders wirksame präventive und repressive Kriminalitätsbekämpfung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland ein. Der BDK ist Mitglied im Conseil Européen des Syndicats de Police (CESP) und sieht seine Aufgabe darin, die präventive und repressive Kriminalitätsbekämpfung auf der Basis angeglichener Rechtsvorschriften nach weitgehend einheitlichem Standard in der Aus- und Fortbildung, in der Organisation und in den Konzepten auf europäischer Ebene zu realisieren. Zur Unterstützung wichtiger gesamtgesellschaftlicher Initiativen zur Kriminalprävention wurde der BDK Mitglied des Deutschen Forums für Kriminalprävention (DFK). Der BDK berät die Regierungen des Bundes und der Länder, die Abgeordneten des Bundestages und der Ländervertretungen in Fragen der nationalen und internationalen Kriminalitätsbekämpfung und Kriminalprävention.

Durch sein Wirken im politischen Raum, in den Medien, der Öffentlichkeit und in den Sicherheitsorganisationen leistet der BDK seinen Beitrag zur Entwicklung einer praxisnahen, realistischen und fortschrittlichen Kriminalitätsbekämpfung. Prävention und Repression stehen dabei gleichberechtigt nebeneinander. Seine Positionen basieren auf den vielfältigen Erfahrungen im Umgang mit Kriminalität, ihren Ursachen und Wirkungen, sowie mit den Opfern, Geschädigten, Zeugen und Tatverdächtigen.

COmparative POlice Studies In The EU

Police forces in all European countries are constantly confronted with the need to respond to social, political, technological, legal, and economic changes. COMPOSITE, funded out of the FP 7 framework programme of the EU, is a research project that looks into and attempts to find out what factors contribute to success or failure of these change processes in police forces all over Europe. The consortium (15 partners from ten European countries) will have a look at organisational structures, identities and cultures, leadership styles, and processes. It cooperates with police forces in Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, the (former Yugoslav) Republic of Macedonia, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom. The projects goal is not restricted to the extension of scientific knowledge and theory building, but aims to provide benchmarks and learning opportunities, increase the performance of police forces across the EU and help to deepen existing networks and inter- and intra-organisational ties between forces.

Deutsche Polizeigewerkschaft

Die DPolG vertritt die beruflichen, sozialen, wirtschaftlichen und finanziellen Interessen der Polizeibeschäftigten in Deutschland, einschließlich der Pensionäre und Rentner. Ihre wichtigste Aufgabe ist das Erreichen besserer Arbeits- und Einkommensbedingungen ebenso wie eine Verbesserung der dienstlichen und beruflichen Rechte. Zu diesem Zweck ist sie in ständigem Kontakt zu Regierungen, Parlamenten und Parteien auf Bundes- und Landesebene. Die DPolG vertritt Landesbeschäftigte sowie die Angehörigen der Bundespolizei (BPOL) und des Bundeskriminalamtes (BKA). In allen 16 Bundesländern ist die Gewerkschaft vertreten, um die Bedürfnisse ihrer rund 86.000 Mitglieder durchzusetzen. Die Bundesgeschäftsstelle der DPolG befindet sich in Berlin.

Die DPolG versteht sich nicht nur als Interessenvertretung der Polizeibeschäftigten in Deutschland, sondern ist auch auf europäischer Ebene aktiv. Im Berufsrat "Sicherheit" der Europäischen Union der Unabhängigen Gewerkschaften (CESI) gestaltet die DPolG aktiv Sicherheitspolitik mit.

Die Europäische Polizei Union (EPU), deren Mitglied die DPolG ist, vereint Polizeigewerkschaften und polizeiliche Standesvertretungen aus ganz Europa. Die EPU hat sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, gewerkschafts- und sicherheitspolitische Impulse in Europa zu setzen. GDP

Die Gewerkschaft der Polizei (GdP) wurde am 14. September 1950 in Hamburg auf Bundesebene gegründet. Hervorgegangen ist sie aus der Interessengemeinschaft der Polizeibeamtenbunde in der britischen Zone und West-Berlin, die sich überregional aus unterschiedlichen Polizeivereinigungen am 16. März 1950 zusammenschloss. Die GdP steht seither als Berufsvertretung allen Polizeibeschäftigten (Polizistinnen und Polizisten, Verwaltungsbeamten und Tarifbeschäftigten) zur Mitgliedschaft offen. Sie organisiert rund 180.000 Mitglieder. Innerhalb der GdP vertreten sogenannte Personengruppen spezifische Interessen von Frauen, Senioren und jungen Polizeibeschäftigten. Der Sitz der GdP ist Berlin. Die Bundesgeschäftsstellen befinden sich in Hilden/Nordrhein-Westfalen und Berlin. Sie bilden die Arbeitsebenen des Geschäftsführenden Bundesvorstands (GBV) der Gewerkschaft der Polizei. Seit dem 1. April 1978 gehört die GdP dem Deutschen Gewerkschaftsbund an. Auf europäischer Ebene ist die GdP in der internationalen Vereinigung der Polizeigewerkschaften EUROCOP, der European Conferation of Police, vertreten.
